(December 10, 2015): Papa John Creach – St. Louis Blues

From the debut 1971 album, Papa John Creach.  At the same Creach was launching his solo career, which saw seven long players released during the 1970s), he also started playing with Hot Tuna (where I always liked him best) and Jefferson Airplane.  He could be heard during the early King Biscuit broadcasts of Charlie Daniel’s Volunteer Jam starting in 1974.

Thanks for the reminder. The one and only time I saw him was with the Airplane at the late, lamented Fillmore East. I’m gonna say this was 70-71. Great stuff.
