(July 18, 2015): Lester Flatt & Earl Scruggs – Salty Dog Blues

From the 1963 album, Flatt and Scruggs at Carnegie Hall!  Together with the original Foggy Mountain Boys (Buck Graves, Paul Warren, and Jake Tullock), plus Billy Powers, Flatt & Scruggs put on a heck of a Carnegie debut on December 8, 1962.  The details are are up on the Carnegie Hall blog.  Flatt & Scruggs first released a version of this tune in 1952 as a b-side single (County Breakdown / Old Salty Dog Blues) with the Foggy Mountain Boys.
