(Mar. 14, 2015): The Melodians – Sweet Sensation

From the 1969 single, Sweet Sensation / It’s My Delight.  This was the first tune by The Melodians that I heard.  It was during the period Leslie Kong was producing them.  It was a few years before their “Rivers of Babylon” contribution to The Harder They Come soundtrack made them Rastafarian giants, but it’s always been my favorite.  My mom bought the 45 at a rummage sale, which I some how lost.  I picked it up again when Mango Records released The King Kong Compilation in 1981.
