(Aug 5, 2014): Les Dudek – Old Judge Jones

K-SHE Classic.  From the 1977 album, Say No More.  Dudek never got the recognition he sweetmeatdeserved.  This is probably the most recognized solo LP, but none of his six outings (the latest in 2013) got much traction.  I first saw his name on the sleeve of the Allman’s 1973 Brothers and Sisters album (playing guitar on “Ramblin’ Man” and “Jessica”).  He also played with Steve Miller, Boz Scaggs, Bobby Whitlock, Dave Mason, and Stevie Nicks.  Here is a live version of “Old Judge Jones” from 2008.
