(Nov 1, 2013): Ed McCurdy – Along Side of the Santa Fe Trail

From the 1996 album, Cowboy Songs.  This was one of McCurdy last LPs and one of the first I used to play to my son.  McCurdy was one of the best know early folk singers and his 1950 tune “Last Night I had the Strangest Dream” — recorded by Pete Seeger in 1956 on Love Songs for Friends and Foes — became a 1960s anti-war anthem.
