(May 16, 2013): Steve Kuhn – A Change of Face

From the 1975 album, Trance.  A brilliant Kuhn outing (and he has had a lot of them).  The combo here is made up of Jack DeJohnette, Sue Evans, and Steve Swallow.  This second Kuhn release for ECM — recorded ten days after his first — was one of a number of great LPs in the 1970s that helped ECM to cement its position as a major jazz label.
