(Apr 30, 2013): Mike Bloomfield / Al Kooper / Stephen Stills – You Don’t Love Me

From the 1968 album, Super Session.  Super Session was Al Kooper’s first idea after he left Blood Sweat & Tears.  It features  Mike Bloomfield and Stephen Stills, but they do not play together on the album.  Bloomfield is on side one (tracks 1-5).  Stills is on side two (tracks 6-9).  The story goes that Kooper booked two days of studio time in May 1968.  On the first day, Kooper and Bloomfield recorded a group of mostly blues-based instrumental tracks. On the second day, with the tapes ready to roll, Bloomfield did not show up and Kooper hastily called upon Stephen Stills.
