(Mar 28, 2013): Chuck Berry and His Combo – Too Much Monkey Business

From the B-side of the 1956 7″ single (45 rpm), Brown Eyed Handsome Man / Too Much Monkey Business.  Berry’s Combo at the time was made up of Johnnie Johnson (piano), Willie Dixon (bass), and Fred Below (drums).  The tune was also released by Chess the same year as a 10″ 78 rpm.  It would also be included on the 1957 EP, After School Session, and the first long player in 1958 by the same name.  The covers, of course, are legendary: Elvis Presley, The Beatles, the Yardbirds, the Kink, the Hollies, etc.
