(Nov 21, 2012): Savoy Brown – I’m Tired/Where Am I

K-SHE Classic.  From the 1969 album, A Step Further.  Savoy Brown were part of the 1960s blues rock movement.  This album, their third LP, helped to entrench them as a staple of progressive rock radio programming — this album, and non-stop U.S. touring.  This tune and the 20+ minute “Savoy Brown Boogie” on side B, had the hooks and the Boogies is one of the group’s best guitar displays.  Personnel changes were pretty constant when the band was together.  Here you get Chris Youlden, Kim Simmonds, Bob Hall, Dave Peverett, Roger Earl, and Tony Stevens.
